Eiffel Tower To Disneyland Paris: Best Routes and Tips

Many Paris itineraries include visiting iconic attractions like the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe, but what about Disneyland Paris?

There is something rather magical about Disneyland Paris that makes it a worthwhile addition to any Paris itinerary, with or without children. Despite not being particularly French, it is a huge magnet for tourists and easy to visit from the centre of Paris.

We have travelled to Paris many times and, on a few occasions, also ventured to Disneyland. Although our family are not big Disney fans, we do like adventure, fun and rollercoasters. Our favourite time to visit was in late September when the weather was warm and there were fewer crowds!

How Many Days To Visit Disneyland Paris?

For some, one day is enough, while others could spend multiple days in the parks. The ideal duration to spend at Disneyland Paris will depend on your personal preferences. We found two days at Disney struck the right balance for a first visit. However long you choose, take time to embrace the magic of Disney!

One Day At Disneyland Paris

If you have limited time to visit Disneyland, spending one day at the park can still be a worthwhile introduction. In one day, you can cover many of the highlights and key attractions in both the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Parks.

Two Days At Disneyland Paris

A two-day visit would be our preferred option for families that want to enjoy both parks at a more relaxed pace. You can cover a wider variety of attractions, shows, parades, and character meet-and-greets without feeling rushed.

Three + Days At Disneyland Paris

Families may choose to visit for three or more days to immerse themselves further in Disney magic. Although this allows for a more relaxed pace, favourite attractions can be revisited, and hidden gems such as themed restaurants and events can be explored.

Family Tip: Consider your children’s age and interests, the time of year (weather and crowd levels), and any specific attractions or experiences on your family’s bucket list. You can always plan a return visit.

Hotels Near Disneyland Paris

If you have more than a one-day pass at Disney, or you would rather stay close for an early start or stay late for the closing fireworks (Disney illuminations nightly at 2130), there are many family-friendly accommodation options. Alternatively, reverse your trip and stay at Disneyland and a day trip to the Eiffel Tower.

The most budget-friendly Unofficial Disney hotel

On our first visit, we booked the Grand Magic Hotel, just outside the park, and it really was Magic! We stayed in one of their family rooms, which had a large double bed with a bunk for two kids. Even with an extra bed for our youngest, there was still plenty of space.

With a good breakfast to set you up for the day and a free shuttle to the park, this is our top pick unofficial Disney Hotel.

The Most Budget-friendly Disney Hotel

When you are talking about ‘official’ Disney Hotels, the term ‘budget-friendly’ becomes relative, but the 2* Hotel Santa Fe is as close as you’ll get. It’s a Pixar Cars, Route 66-themed hotel that does the basics really well. As you’d expect, you get the usual perks of staying in one of the park’s own hotels with early entry available and a free shuttle bus to the park.

The Most luxurious Disneyland Hotel

On our second visit, we stayed for one night at the 5* Disney Hotel. The booking included two-day park access with early entry and was, as you’d expect, very luxurious! The character meet-and-greets delighted the kids and the food was absolutely awesome. It is located right at the park gates with a private entrance, making it the ultimate option for convenience and comfort if your budget allows.

Note: There are cheaper accommodation options, including campsites near Disneyland Paris. Many of them will run a shuttle bus but you may need to arrange your own transport. If you have the budget, staying in an official Disney hotel with kids is worth it for the early access to the park alone. It is also great fun to stay in a themed room and meet the Disney Characters.
